TBC & New Year 2019

Welcome one and all to 2019. This year will see me celebrate my 56th revolution around the sun, the forthcoming release of the Phoenix Sessions EP, the continuing recording of TBC’s debut album and putting in the groundwork for TBC’s 2020 Bars, Bordellos & Beaches tour.

2018 marked a turning point in the life of The Burning Curtains. The year was full of highs and lows. The lows are now behind us and the highs we can continue to celebrate particularly the release of our debut single Fountains which has clocked up over four and a half thousand streams and downloads since its release on 5th November 2018. Currently the Phoenix Session EP is under construction and will be with our fabulous and talented engineer and mixer J.A Sage soon. The final tracks will be released throughout the summer and autumn with the completed EP released on New Years Day 2020.

In the later part of 2018, TBC’s gained support and recognition from a number of people and organisations, which has helped us to raise our profile on a world wide stage. Tim Forker at forksterocks.net has been instrumental in spreading the TBC message and music around the globe through social media which has garnered a great boost to our fanbase which is growing consistently. Anne Estella wrote a fab review of our debut single Fountains for Down The Front Media and Dawn Martinez of Radio Indie FreeForm gave us our first radio play from their station based in New Mexico, USA. I am deeply indebted to these few for their work in championing the independent musician and independent music particularly The Burning Curtains, to their audiences and wish them all good things in 2019.

I can’t leave out our fans, and this post is also a tribute to them and their unwavering support over the years. To our new fans and followers too, welcome to the curtaineers and our ever expanding club which now totals well over 2000 on all social media platforms and over 2000 subscribers to our web portal. Thank you all, I wish each of you a happy and prosperous New Year.

Stuart Campbell & The Burning Curtains.
